PANDANGAN MUI KOTA BINJAI TERHADAP FATWA MUI NO. 14 TAHUN 2020 TENTANG PENYELENGGARAAN PROSES IBADAH DI TENGAH PANDEMI

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the role of the Indonesian Ulema Council in Binjai City in disseminating the Fatwa of the Indonesian Ulema Council No. 14 of 2020 in Binjai City. To find out the Implementation of the Implementation of the Fatwa of the Indonesian Ulema Council No. 14 of 2020 in Binjai City. The type of research being conducted is qualitative research, namely research that aims to describe the situation or phenomenon after the issuance of the fatwa of the Indonesian Ulama Council number 14 of 2020. The results of this study indicate that the Binjai City Council of Indonesian Ulemas socializes the fatwa by utilizing social media and wireless networks (online). ), by providing invitations, appeals and appeals through tausiah and guidance regarding the fatwa of the Indonesian Ulema Council number 14 of 2020 which was issued by the Indonesian Ulema Council of North Sumatra. The implementation of the Indonesian Ulema Council fatwa number 14 of 2020 can also be said to be smooth because in general the people in Binjai City comply with the health protocol and understand the current conditions which require implementing health protocols, especially in places of worship, although there are still a handful of people who do not comply with the rules due to lack of believe in the existence of Covid-19 and are not used to wearing masks during worship for reasons that are uncomfortable and interfere with concentration during prayer. This fatwa, when analyzed using Maqasid Syariah, wants maintenance of the soul (hifdz al-nafs) to avoid Covid-19
