PENGARUH HUKUMAN HAFALAN SURAH PENDEK TERHADAP KEDISIPLINAN SISWA MTS. AL BAROKAH DESA JAHARUN B KECAMATAN GALANG

Abstract

This study is based on punishment in the form of short surah memorization, then the author's purpose in conducting this study is to determine the Effect of Short Surah Memorization Punishment on Student Discipline at MTs Al Barokah, Jaharun B Village, Galang District. The method used by the author in this study is a quantitative method after this study was conducted by the author at MTs Al Barokah, Jaharun B Village, Galang District with a sample of 80 people and the data obtained by the author from students using a questionnaire technique. The results of this study of short surah memorization punishment showed a figure of 58.02, the standard deviation results showed a figure of 6.07 and the highest frequency was obtained from the x variable, namely with a value of 56-63, getting a result of 41.25% which can be said to agree. The mean result of variable Y, namely student discipline, shows a figure of 61.25 and the standard deviation shows a figure of 5.38 and the highest frequency is obtained from variable Y 58-63 getting a result of 42.5% which can be said to agree. After the author conducted research and obtained the mean of variable X and variable Y, the author conducted a hypothesis test which obtained a result of 0.845.
