The author owns the copyright and gives the journal copyright for the first publication. At the same time, the work is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution License, allowing others to share the work with the authorship of the work and the first publication of the journal. Authors can make other separate contractual agreements to non-exclusively distribute the published journal version of the work (for example, to publish it to an institutional repository or to publish it in book form) and to confirm the original publication in a journal.
Authors are permitted and encouraged to publish their work online (for example, on a knowledge base or agency website) before and during the submission process, as this can lead to beneficial exchanges, as well as initial and greater offers for published works.
